golfbible houston cover

We wrote the book on golf in Houston. The Insperity Golf Bible to Greater Houston is a 388-page, full-color history book, almanac and directory that captures the history and glory of golf in Houston, with course reviews and information on more than 150 courses, clubs and resorts in Houston and South Texas. If you play golf, these books will be an indispensable tool as you look for new places to play, shop around for a club to join or look for new golf getaways.

If you'd like to take a test drive to see more of what's in it, just click the book image (above or Click Here) and it will launch our digital flip-book version of the entire book. From the Table of Contents page on Page 5, you can click on any section of the book you'd like to explore and jump straight to it.

Trinity King, a seventh grade honors student at Boles Junior High in Arlington won the North Texas Local and Regional Qualifiers for the Inaugural Drive, Chip and Putt Tournament to be televised live at Augusta National Golf Club during Masters Week.

King will compete in the finals against 10 other kids in her age group from across the country.
To see Trinity's interview on The Golf Channel, click here.
At just 12, Trinity is the reigning Arlington City Open Ladies Champion, a title she won last year at Tierra Verde Golf Club. Last year, she had the opportunity to be a standard bearer in Paula Creamer's group at the LPGA North Texas Shootout.
Trinity is elated to be playing on coveted Augusta National greens, especially during Masters Week. After the tournament, she will spend all day watching the pros practice – she has several absolute favorites to follow.
She loves golf. She started playing when she was 6 and she spotted a gleaming set of pink junior golf clubs while on a shopping trip with her dad.
That first year, she had a blast competing in the U.S. Kids Local Golf Tour and won the c championship and the Player of the Year Award. Since then, she has won countless medals and awards, but one of her all-time favorites was winning the Texas-Mexico Ryder Cup in 2011 & 12.
She is invited to play for Team Texas again this year and it will be held in San Antonio over the July 4th weekend. Team Texas and Team Mexico's top juniors compete as teams during the 3-day tournament. There, the kids relish the camaraderie and create cross-cultural longtime friendships together.
She regularly competes against her top Team Texas players, and will, at the upcoming Junior Golf Championship Tournaments, The Lone Star Junior Championship and The Taylor Made Invitational (www.juniorgolfchampionships.com ). Her favorite JGC tournament is the 2014 Junior Masters, where they award the winners a Green Jacket!
Trinity does have a full plate throughout the year - as a dedicated 7th Grade honors student, as a longtime active Girl Scout, as a fiercely competitive soccer player – but golfing is her number one "funnest" sport to play.
The Inaugural Drive, Chip and Putt Tournament will be televised LIVE from Augusta National on the GOLF Channel, on Sunday, April 6 at 7pm, Central Time.
